A smile in Guatemala
Jose, a boy from Guatemala, now has the hope of living a normal, healthy life because of the dedicated doctors from the CRISP Foundation and equipment and supplies donated by Mission Outreach.
Since 1997, CRISP (Children's Rehabilitation Institute and Surgery Program) has sponsored medical teams to benefit the children of the United States, Pakistan, the Philippine Islands, Mexico, Honduras, Costa Rica, Belize and Guatemala. These photos show the results of a cleft palate surgery that was performed on Jose at age 4.

In April 2010, the team will return to perform the 2nd part of the surgery – removing some teeth and rebuilding his bridge. Mission Outreach will partner again with Dr. Ronald Strahan and the CRISP Foundation to improve Jose’s quality of life.
