Prevea's generosity
On August 2, Prevea Health hosted the first annual charity golf tournament for our benefit, with a total of 80 golfers in attendance. The event was held at Oneida, Wisconsin, just outside of Green Bay.
Prevea Health was the first clinic to join Mission Outreach in helping to fulfill our mission of redistributing medical supplies and equipment to developing nations. Because of their long history of donations and support, Prevea Health has donated more than 13,000 pounds of supplies and equipment. For example, donate d blood draw chairs have been put to good use in the Philippines, infant scales were sent to the Dominican Republic, and exam tables are in service in Ghana and Cameroon. Prevea’s dedication and contribution to Mission Outreach has been invaluable, providing a shining example for environmental and humanitarian stewardship around the world.
“Mission Outreach is an incredible group, and I am personally proud of our colleagues and friends who showed tremendous support for the group’s cause,” said Prevea President and Chief Executive Officer Ashok Rai, MD (pictured left with Pamela Perlmutter, Mission Outreach Development and Public Relations manager). “We were able to raise a $15,000 donation for Mission Outreach—money that will now be used to distribute useable medical equipment to those in need throughout the world.”
