Volunteerism at Mission Outreach is rewarding work, and we invite you to join us. We can always use extra hands - whether you are a student needing volunteer hours, the leader of a church group looking for a mission-focused cause to support, or an individual who simply wishes to give back in a meaningful way. Our volunteers help us sort supplies, prepare shipments for distribution, assist drivers with equipment pick-ups, perform administrative duties, in addition to other tasks.
Be part of our family by wearing one of our great t-shirts! (pictured below).
Designed locally, the sym bol on the back speaks of our international spirit of reaching out to those in need. The cost is $15 and sizes are L, XL, XL2, and XL3. Interested in purchasing one? Please call Jill at 217.525.8843, ext. 195 or email her.

Volunteer Associate and/or Warehouse Associate
We are looking for volunteers to help us with data entry, sorting, and warehouse responsibilities. We can offer flexible hours during the week, some evenings and Saturdays. There is no previous knowledge of medical supplies needed, as we will provide training.
A Sort Room Specialist will help prepare/set up for volunteer activities, guide and train volunteers in the sorting process, assist in month-end preparations, work with the Volunteer Associate to schedule volunteers and needs to demonstrate attention to detail.
A Data Entry Volunteer will enter medical supplies in the inventory system, assist in month-end and year-end balancing of the sort room and warehouse and will enter detailed information into a customized database. This volunteer needs to demonstrate basic computer skills and attention to detail.
A Warehouse Specialist will help to prepare the warehouse for volunteer activities, oversee the warehouse volunteer tasks, communicate with the Warehouse and Logistics Manager to plan activities and coordinate with the Volunteer Associate to schedule volunteers.
As a volunteer, you will not only be helping a fantastic and dynamic nonprofit organization with very important work, but you will be learning what it truly means to be “green” and become part of the environmental and social justice movement.
